Schema markup validator

Schema markup earns rich results and AI citations — but broken or incomplete markup silently does nothing. Validate any page and see exactly what Google sees.

How to use

Three steps, ten seconds

  1. 01

    Enter the page

Any page — yours or a competitor's whose rich results you envy.

  2. 02

    We parse the markup

Every JSON-LD block is fetched and parsed exactly as a search engine would.

  3. 03

    Fix with confidence

Syntax errors, missing fields and entity types in plain English — no cryptic validator output.

FAQ

Common questions

What does this validator check?

Every JSON-LD block on the page: whether it parses (one stray comma makes a block invisible to Google), what entity types it declares, and whether common types like LocalBusiness, FAQPage, Product and Article carry their recommended fields. It also flags legacy microdata.

My schema is valid — why no rich results?

Valid is the entry ticket, not a guarantee. Google also requires the marked-up content to be visible on the page, the site to be trusted, and the result type to be worth showing for that query. Valid, complete and honest markup maximizes eligibility — Google decides the rest.

What schema should a local business have?

Minimum: LocalBusiness (or your specific subtype — Dentist, Plumber, Restaurant) with name, address, phone and hours, plus Organization and WebSite sitewide. Add Service for each service page and FAQPage wherever real questions get answered. Our schema markup guide in the wiki covers each type.
