Non-square images are automatically center-cropped. Your image never leaves your browser.

Upload an image to generate 16, 32, 48, 180, 192 and 512 px PNG favicons with download buttons and a ready-made HTML snippet.

How to use

Three steps, ten seconds

  1. 01

    Upload your logo

Choose any PNG, JPG, WebP or SVG. It is center-cropped to a square and resized in your browser — nothing is uploaded to a server.

  2. 02

    Download the sizes you need

Six PNGs are generated instantly: 16, 32, 48, 180, 192 and 512 px, each named correctly (favicon-32x32.png, apple-touch-icon.png, and so on).

  3. 03

    Copy the link tags

Drop the files in your site's root folder, paste the ready-made <link> snippet into your <head>, and every browser and device gets the right icon.

FAQ

Common questions

Which favicon sizes do I actually need?

For modern browsers: 16 and 32 px PNGs for the tab icon, 180 px for iOS (apple-touch-icon), and 192 and 512 px for Android and PWA manifests. This tool generates all of them, plus 48 px for older Windows contexts, from a single upload.

Is my image uploaded anywhere?

No. The crop and resize happen entirely in your browser using the canvas API. The image never leaves your device, which also means the tool works instantly with no file-size upload limits.

What makes a good favicon image?

Start with a square image at least 512 × 512 px — a simple logo mark or a bold letter works far better than a full wordmark, because at 16 px fine detail disappears. High contrast against both light and dark browser tabs is ideal. Non-square images are center-cropped automatically.
