QR code generator

Turn any link or text into a QR code and download it as a PNG — no watermark, no expiry, no account. Everything is generated in your browser, so nothing you enter ever leaves your device.

How to use

Three steps, ten seconds

  1. 01

    Paste your link or text

Enter a URL, phone number, Wi-Fi note or any text up to a couple of thousand characters. The QR code re-renders live on every keystroke.

  2. 02

    Pick a download size

Choose 256, 512 or 1024 px. The code is drawn at crisp integer scaling with a proper quiet zone, so it scans reliably at any size.

  3. 03

    Download the PNG

Hit Download PNG and drop the file into your menu, flyer, packaging or slide deck. Static codes never expire and have no scan limits.

FAQ

Common questions

Do the QR codes expire or stop working?

No. This tool creates static QR codes — the destination is encoded directly into the pattern, with no redirect service in between. As long as the link itself keeps working, the QR code works forever, with no scan limits and no subscription.

Is my link or text uploaded to a server?

No. The QR code is generated entirely in your browser with JavaScript and drawn onto a canvas element. Nothing you type is sent, logged or stored anywhere, so it is safe to encode private links and Wi-Fi details.

What size should I download for print?

Use 1024 px for anything printed — flyers, table tents, posters or packaging. A QR code should be at least 2 × 2 cm (about 0.8 in) when printed, and bigger if people will scan it from further away. For websites and emails, 256 or 512 px is plenty.
