Which schema type should a local business use?

Start with LocalBusiness on your homepage — name, address, phone, hours and price range. Add Service schema to each service page, and FAQPage to any page with a question-and-answer section. Together those three cover the highest-impact structured data for a local business site.

How do I add the generated code to my website, and how do I test it?

Copy the whole snippet — the script tags are included — and paste it into your page's <head>, or anywhere in the HTML. On WordPress use a header-scripts plugin or your theme's custom-code box. Then paste your page URL into validator.schema.org (linked next to the output) to confirm Google can parse it.
